This feeling inside

I want to be more than your girlfriend. More than your lover. More than your best friend. I want to be more than your accomplice. More than your partner. More than your confidant. I want to be who supports you, who gives you advice or calls your attention when needed. I want to be who you care for, giving you medicine to lower your fever or improve your headache. Or who cares for you just for caring. The kind that asks not to forget the cold blouse, or pay attention when crossing the street, or not walking in the rain or cold drinking water, or even control the amount of coolant that you take during the day. I want to be one who will receive your link in the middle of the night and hear you say: “I need you” or “I’m homesick,” or even an “I called to hear your voice.” Or even asking me to be silent, making you company. I want to be who you think want to share something good that happened, or even a no nonsense. I want to be who will walk down the street holding your hand and who you will be proud of that. And anything else I’ve done or do. I want to be who will prepare your favorite meal on a Sunday lunch. And who will receive praise from your mother, hearing her say that I am the right person for you or anything like that. I want to be who will be by your side in bed. Who will receive your caresses and hear words of a good future. I want to be who will help you with your problems, and do everything to make them smaller and easier to resolve. I want to be who you will be waiting at the altar, filming the birth of our children and all those things cliches, all those dreams of a loving couple. As we. I want to be yours.
